COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED
The Passchendaele Society is proud to have received the support of the Belgian Embassy in Canberra and to pass on the following message on behalf of the Ambassador and the Embassy of Belgium in Canberra to the winners:
‘The Embassy of Belgium in Canberra is honoured to support the Passchendaele Schools Competition, which commemorates those who served and fell during the First World War, while inspiring young people to reflect on the values of peace and remembrance. The Ambassador encourages everyone to continue striving for a peaceful society where everyone can develop to their full potential. Only peace brings out the best in each of us. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to this year’s winners for their thoughtful and creative contributions, and our sincere thanks to the educators and organisers who bring this important initiative to life. Lest we forget.’
